The Equity Capital Markets division manages, distributes and allocates the firm's equity new issues, consisting of treasury and initial public offerings (IPOs), special warrants, and private placements via agency and bought deal transactions. This group of professionals originates, structures, syndicates, prices and allocates equity products for all our institutional and retail clients.
Our group has a comprehensive understanding of new issue trends in Canada and internationally. The Equity Capital Markets team is up to date and well-versed with regulatory and compliance standards. Our marketing objective is to generate strong demand on new issue transactions providing our issuers with syndicate members which provide excellent execution and distribution as well as tactically priced offerings. Our goal is also to maintain a post-offering relationship with our corporate issuers.
